As a mum I often try to create nutritious recipes that the whole family loves, and these yummy, easy and healthy banana pancakes sure ticks all the boxes. Pancakes are great in so many ways, they're easy to vary, small children can hold them in their hands and you can sneak in healthy ingredients without it being noticed.
Here's my best Chicken recipe ever, so let me tell you more about it. Seared boneless chicken thighs with lots of garlic, a thick and creamy sauce, crispy bacon, mushrooms and leeks. I have made this dish for many occasions and it has been a real crowd pleaser, among both kids and adults.
Refreshing frozen berry drink with Bacardi Razz, or I should say semi frozen since it should have a "slushy" consitency. I call it Berry Fuze and it's a sweet and tart drink with intense flavor perfect for a hot summer day. It really is delicious and even though you can make it with frozen berries, it's incomparable to the taste when using ripe fresh berries that are in season.
An amazingly delicious and creamy Risotto that's packed with flavor. A large dollop of Mascarpone cheese gives it a lovely creaminess and in my opinion, this is the tastiest Risotto ever. I developed this recipe over a long period of time and now it has all that I want in a Risotto. It takes a bit of time to make Risotto by the book, but it's so worth it.
I hope that you'll enjoy this irresistible caramel chocolate mousse cake just as much as I do. This creation has a milk chocolate cream with a hint of licorice, a luscious salted caramel mousse and it's covered in a gorgeous chocolate ganache. To finish it all, sprinkle some almond flakes and raspberries as topping and serve with some lightly whipped cream.
This maple mousse pie with pecans is a real treat. Firstly imagine the crust with taste of chocolate, pecans and browned butter. Secondly we move on to a smooth and luscious maple mousse enveloped by the crust. Lastly picture the caramelized Pecans, that gives the perfect crunch to it. I think that it's a really delicious pie (or cake) and there's actually a pinch of salt added to it, which enhances the flavor and brings it to yet another dimension. But of course, if you're not in to the whole sweet and salty mix, then you just exclude the salt or lower the amount.
These lovely oatmeal cookies has a nice balance between the sweetness from the cookie and the white chocolate in combination with the tart cranberries.
Low carb Risotto with cauliflower rice is my go-to dish when I'm in the mood for a a quick and easy Risotto. It's also great for weekdays or if you want to cut down on carbs, or rice for that matter. I really used to miss Risotto (as well as bread and pasta of course) when on a low carb diet. So I was thrilled when I made this and found it to be a great substitute.
This ice cream is a perfect dessert to prepare some days in advance and it's tasty just as it is. But if you want to give it that extra touch just add meringues and some toffee sauce. I use the egg whites that's left over after making the ice cream to bake meringues but of course store bought ones works fine too.
Saffron biscuits with white chocolate and black currants that are so tasty that you'll want to make them all year round. They pair perfectly with a cup of tea and are so tasty with some butter. Biscottis are such a nice treat in general and these are my favorites among them.Most often I make these for Christmas and they're perfect for any occasion, I also like to wrap them in cellophane and bring them as a gift to festivities.
